Ok, I know this is a really stupid question, but.......

I have recently had my car stereo nicked. It fitted in the car when new. Its
a 1992 VW Corrado. It is a Pioneer KEH????RDS, and is connected to a CDX-M40
changer. I didn't take any notice of the model number, and I don't have the
instruction manual. My problem is that I can't tell the insurance company
what model it was, cos I don't know. Does anyone have a list of the stereos
that connect to a cdx-M40 from around 1992 they could send me. To narrow
things down, the stereo doesn't have a slot for a tape, but the eject button
opens up the front for the tape. There are buttons 1 - 6 below the display
for the cd's, and above the display from left to right are the volume
controls, the radio band, and then 4 (I think) buttons for various functions
(Learn being one of them). The eject button is on the right, with the source
button below.

Thanks for any help.

There are quite a lot; the number will be KEH-M????RDS (M for M-series changer
connection). Tell them it was a KEH-M9000RDS and you won't go far wrong.

You do know that your changer is several years obsolete and you can't buy a new
head unit to go with it... you are in for a complete new system!
