Hello, I would like to get back on the digimodes. In the past Iv used MixW
and a few others to work PSK31, Packet, APRS, SSTV. Im running windows
vista 64 bit. Im not too sure what will be the best program to use with
this OS.

Has anyone got any recomendations please?

Yes. Format your hard drive and install XP.

I use DM780 (part of Ham Radio deluxe) for most modes, but I use MMSSTV
for SSTV.

Andy,
I have tried many different programmes in the past but for the last
while have been using DM780 V5.

All the V5 programmes are "workin progress" but think you will only
find a bug if you dig very deep. There are other programmes from the
same stable that interface directly with DM780 that can, if you wish,
look after logging etc. The SSTV part of the programme is not as
intuative as MMSSTV but does everything you need and is much improved
since its V5 introduction.

DM780 is certainly worth a look but it took me a bit of time to "get"
its methodology so a glance of the manual is occasionally necessary.

Good luck,

David

For a good start, try downloading FLDIGI It does several digimodes.
Play around with it for a while and see what you can receive and if
you like the program. It does work with Vista.

Nick.
