Aldershot - what a dump!

Yesterday, the day before my 6 month contract expired, I was
forced to drive through the middle of Aldershot for the first time
because of an accident blocking the road I normally used.

What a dump!

Full of thick squaddies, thick residents and sick brick facades.

The preponderance of brick means that it is a truism to say that
the residents live in mud huts.

Anyway, off to Portsmouth next week for my next contract
working on yachtsmen's navigational eqpt - more fun than testing
GSM phones!

So it's, "Farewell!" to thick squaddies and now having to
watch out for the Masturbating (qv) Navy.

The good people of Portsmouth need to know who you are:

Polymath is just one of your posting names. A search of the archives
for Airy R Bean will tell all that come into contact with you what they
need to know.

For your new employers, somethings you probably left of your CV:

It is also my public duty to warn potential customers of your new
employer which is why this has been copied to the appropriate
newsgroups.

So, after 6 months during which ISTR your last employer gave you a book
of basics and sat you in a corner to brush up your maths, they've
finally had enough and not renewed your contract. Why am I _NOT_ surprised?

(The moral of this story has to be....stay anonymous and don't
publish any personal data.)

I'd like to thank the two people who contacted my new client
resulting in me being hauled up before the HR manager. I don't
know who you are because you're protected by the Data Protection
Act, so I'll just address you as "Infantile Coward 1" and "Infantile
Coward 2".
(IC1 and IC2)

As it happens, I was able to demonstrate that all of my postings
to uk.radio.amateur have either been in support of maintaining
technical
educational standards or, when political, have been in support
of respect being shown equally for _ALL_ humans and their lives.

The HR guy was bemused by the decline in behavioural standards
brought about by the M3/CB Fools' Licence (he knew a little
about Ham Radio), in particular the way in which one rather sad
and infantile character used Usenet to accuse me of sheep-shagging
and then when I tried to defend myself, resorted to invoking the
plods in a perjurous attempt to escape criticism; yes, the
matter of my arrest was brought to their attention, as well as
other issues.

Whatever were the intentions of IC1 and IC2, they have resulted in
a very poor press for the cause of Ham Radio, both by their
malicious communications and by bringing the failings of the
sexual pervert to a wider audience. Clients such as the one I
am working for now are typically employers of Radio Hams
but this episode has spolied their perception of us somewhat.

Anyway, "Yah! Boo! Sucks!" - my contract is safe and secure.

Perhaps the people on here who have suffered this chappie approaching
their employers with his version of righteousness and indignation must
surely be ROFL....the biter bit...

Hey Beanie, can I be IC3? I'd like to show them your Soham observations.
