NEWS FOR THE SOUTH EAST & EAST ANGLIA

Today, the 2nd of March, the 18th Rainham Radio Rally is being held at the
Rainham School for Girls, Derwent Way, Rainham, Kent. Access is from the
M2, junction 4, on to the A278, and follow the 'RRR' arrows. It opens at
9.30am for disabled visitors, and at 10am for others. Under-14s are
admitted free. There is talk-in on two metres, channel S22, together with
trade stands, special interest groups and refreshments.

Today, the 2nd of March, sees another of the Radio Society of Harrow's

Next Saturday, the 8th of March, Crystal Palace Radio & Electronics
Club [http://www.members.aol.com/rfcburns] is holding its Spring Radio
Fair at St John's Hall, Sylvan Road, London SE19. It opens at 10.30am, and
one free drink is provided free of charge. Under-16s are admitted free.

NEWS FOR THE MIDLANDS

Stourbridge Amateur Radio Society is now preparing to run its third
Foundation Licence course. In the two previous courses 100 per cent
success rates have been achieved. The new course will be held in four
parts at Old Swinford Hospital School, Heath Lane, Old Swinford,
Stourbridge. The first two parts run from 9am until 1pm on Saturday and
Sunday the 8th and 9th of March, followed by the second two from 7 until
9.30pm on Monday the 10th and Wednesday the 12th of March. The examination
will be taken during the final half-hour of the Wednesday session. Anyone
wishing to attend the course should contact John, M1EJG, on 01562 700 513,

course, but early booking is recommended.

Next Sunday, the 9th of March, Wythall Radio Club is holding its Radio &
Computer Rally at Wythall Park, Silver Street, Wythall, on the A435, two

stands, a licensed bar, refreshments, a bring-and-buy stall, and talk-in
