Hi, thanks for reading this:

Can anyone possibly help out a non-net amateur colleague who needs
to know the details of the interwiring between his Kenpro KR400
control box and the associated rotator?

The actual model of the rotator is not known (It was second hand)
but it would be reasonable to assume that it is also a Kenpro
model, sold as a matched pair with the control unit.

He has details sketched out roughly on paper and has wired the
unit accordingly, but he has problems with the feedback/direction
indication side of the setup and needs to confirm, if possible,
what the wiring should be.

Any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.

Regards, Graham, M0ADR (Remove the bit in the middle to reply

the wires are in same positions on both terminal connections, they should
be numbered 1-8 on the plastic moulding.
you need 6 wires for a kenpro and you connect to the first 6 available
connections , ie top 4 and bottom 2 from left to right, just incase im wrong
you will definately see numbers next to each connection, and you need 1 to 6
wired up.
yaesu g400 uses 5 wire connection.
