Maybe you can provide us with a few more examples of such reoffending,
perhaps your friend Hilsden, for example?
Lets see, two convictions for sexual offences against boys, one for fraud,
and one for stalking. And a pervert Freemason to boot.
Who would have thought it.
Another example. shaun Nobes of Basingstoke was convicted of multiple
sexual offences, including sexual assault of his teenage stepdaughter,
controlling prostitution and various other things. He got a 19 year
determinate sentence. Another pervert Freemason.
Those who live in glass houses should be mindful of throwing stones.
Strangely, a person who is convicted once of a sexual offence
statistically extremely unlikely to be convicted again. Yet someone
convicted twice of sexual offences is 50% likely to be convicted again
within 5 years of yet another sexual offence.
So someone convicted in 2007 and since living a law-abiding life is
likely to never offend again. Where someone caught in 1994 then again in
2006 is more likely then not to be back in prison for the same reason.
However, I will ask again - what is this obsession you have with
"perverts" and "paedophiles". It seems a very unhealthy obsession for one
who used to be a teacher... should I speak in confidence to your former
safeguarding officer?
