Just a note on this in case others are looking into this. If you have done everything you can to ensure deliverability (such as Sender Authentication), there is still a chance your emails can get blocked. SendGrid (like all email senders) use a Shared IP address to send emails, if this IP goes on a Blacklist somewhere, then certain email providers may block it.

I have a Sendgrid Pro account and an IP with a great send reputation (99%) but the emails still get marked by hotmail and yahoo as spam or thrown into the junk folder all the time! So it is not worth the upgrade at all!
Feel free to understand the above as you wish.
Did we get a different IP address from a pool that Yahoo allowed on the paid plan? maybe. But yea this is concerning. Especially if you cannot bypass sendgrid easily using bubble.
I argued that I had a reputation of 99%, and they told me that in my plan, the ip was shared, and some people who shared ip with me, can send spam, so outlook could flag my emails outlook as spam too.
Has anyone experienced issues adding their Yahoo Mail Account to the Samsung Email App? I have a continuing issue where Samsung Email is unable to validate my Yahoo Mail however I get an email from Yahoo Stating that my account has been signed in through Samsung Email.
You're not alone. Same issues here. I've tried all sorts of things to access my Yahoo mail from Samsung's native e-mail app but no luck.
In the past, Yahoo mail had a setting where you could allow access to 'less secure deviced', which always did the trick. Now this setting has disappeared from Yahoo mail, so I'm clueless as to how to fix this.
In Email setop, choose Other, not Yahoo. Enter your email address, but then choose Manual Setup (You won't go to the automatic Yahoo sign-in screen. Choose Pop3 and enter your password. (also enter password for Outgoing server). You'll have access to you inbox, but not any subfolders you may have
I did find out on Android forums that it has something to do with the latest Chrome Update. Although it could be something happening to make email users change to the Gmail or Outlook or Yahoo mail. I like the Samsung Mail app. Used it for a long time.
I have never had problems with Yahoo emails until I updated my anti virus on my HP desktop (windows). Yahoo will let me attach documents from my desktop and send them, but it will not let me preview them before sending them off. It is the same when I receive emails. I have to download the attachment before looking at it, isntead of just previewing it and decide whether I need it or not. It is very frustrating. I have updated my chrome browser, tried another browser, took my anti virus off and fire wall off, restarted my desktop. Basically all the advice I have read on google. The only thing I did not wish to try was deleting an extension in Chrome "McAfee webadviser", which manages my downloads. When I go to preview a word document I have attachment to an email for example, it says "we are having trouble previewing this file" and I have to actually download it onto my computer to view it which I do not need to do as it is already on my computer.Sometimes I like to just click on an attachment in the yahoo app to check I have added the correct attachment as i own my own business.
I figured it out for those of you that are still struggling to fix this. You have to go into you Yahoo security settings and generate a password specifically for the app. I chose "Other App" and used that as my email password when setting up the Scan to Email in HP.
Whenever I try to add my yahoo account to k9 it gives me error saying incorrect username or password. I checked the username and password and they are correct. I am able to add account with the same credentials in bluemail app but for some reason I am unable to add my account to k9mail.
With Yahoo Mail, you can send an email with just a few clicks, using either Yahoo in a web browser or the Yahoo mobile app for your phone or tablet. You can use whichever is more convenient, and your inbox will stay in sync between the two at all times.
I have spent the past hour and a half trying to link to my yahoo and have been chatting with one of the sales guys but he has been unable to help me. I have set up filters which has whitelisted hubspot and have tried all of the other tips and troubleshooting but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I do this?
Why it was not working. HubSpot set the email system up as an app and if you look at your web browser it will say something like -settings-email/9894857/email/connectedEmails so it is viewed by yahoo as an app.
This allows me to make the connection, but it gets disconnected after sending multiple emails. I've gone back and forth with hubspot and yahoo support and nobody can figure out why i'm losing connection. Any help would be appeciated
Thanks for taking the time to map this out. I'm working with it but having a disconnect on step 10: Click on Integrations then email Integrations. "Email Integrations" doesn't show up. I'm chatting with HS and they say yahoo is not supported then we sent them this community page and they indicate I should share a screenshot to ask what others do here. I'm not able to get through step 10. They pointed us to some IMAP workaround but that isn't working.
SO this works when im initially connecting. however, when i start blasting out emails through hubspot with my yahoo small busines account, it randomly disconnects. Ive talked to yahoo AND hubspot, and nobody can figure out why its kicking me off when i send emails. some emails work but others get disconnected. Can anyone help?
If you've tried a lot of times without any success, it may be worth clearing your cache to ensure there are no cached errors causing further issues (or preventing the right information from connecting).
We tried all of those - with the whitelisting and filter option. I have no idea how to do the IMAP/STMP. We are a small community beneficial society who has just been awarded funding so have not IT support so it is just me trying to figure it out. The sales guy said that other users use yahoo and to post here asking for advice as to what to do next
You changed your mind: Sometimes you might compose an email and then change your mind before sending it. Maybe you had second thoughts about the tone or the content of the email, or you received new information that makes the email unnecessary or irrelevant. Instead of deleting the email and risking losing the draft, you can simply undo the send and make the necessary changes or delete the email altogether.
The email contains confidential information: If you accidentally sent an email that contains sensitive or confidential information, such as passwords, financial data, personal details, or trade secrets, you might want to unsend the email to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches. By recalling the email, you can minimize the damage and take steps to secure the information.
You want to save face: In some cases, you might want to unsend an email to avoid looking foolish or unprofessional. For example, if you sent an angry or emotional email that you regret, or if you replied to an email without fully understanding the context, you might want to recall the email and apologize or clarify your position.
The ability to unsend an email can potentially be life-changing if you protect yourself from sending the wrong message to the wrong person. Unfortunately, most email clients do not include this feature for all email service providers natively. Spike is the best email client for unsending email messages across Google Workspace, Outlook email, Yahoo, iCloud, etc. Spike supports it as an account so that the unsend email functionality will work perfectly. Situation I can't figure out. As of this week, which I believe coincides with the new xfinity security I am no longer able to load my yahoo mail. I have tried updating my browser, using a different browser, deleted my Xfinity Norton AV and also turned off the X1 security. I am completely confused as all other websites work fine.
You need to clarify-------how are you trying to "load" the Yahoo email? Do you mean you are having problems signing into it using their webmail UI? Or something else? I have a Yahoo account and I can sign into it with no issues.
If you're using a third party email client or have added your Yahoo mail to the Xfinity webmail page, you should know that a few weeks ago Yahoo ceased allowing third party email clients from collecting Yahoo mail. They sent out emails explaining how you could continue doing this, however. Did you receive those emails?
I use Thunderbird and haven't followed Yahoo's directions to continue using it for my Yahoo mail. The last download of Yahoo mail I had was 11/3/20. So, unless you follow Yahoo's directions for re-establishing connection, Thunderbird won't "just work" regardless of the authentication. Following the directions in the email Yahoo sent out for re-connecting to various clients/devices is the only way to re-establish connection.
A whitelist is a list of approved or safe email addresses to help a spam filter determine whether it should allow delivery. If you are on your recipient's whitelist, you can guarantee your emails will be received. If you want to make sure you receive messages from a certain person or company, you simply need to manually add them as a contact.
The "From" field is where you'll specify what's getting whitelisted. In Gmail, you can specify either a specific email address (e.g. hello
domain.com), or you can whitelist a whole domain by omitting everything before the at symbol (e.g.
domain.com).
