Bliar, Bliar, pants on fire.

Lets nail a couple of lies Tony's Tory Party are spinning. We'll look at
"no decision has been made to go to war yet" and "there is a moral
argument to go to war".
"No decision has been made to go to war yet".
Get real. Thirty thousand UK troops have gone, Blair has said that he's
willing to ignore a Security Council resolution if an 'unreasonable'
veto is used and Stealth bombers will carpet bomb Baghdad in the first
couple of days from USAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. Blair has shown
his contempt for the British parliament by refusing to have a vote on
the issue and British troops are sent to war knowing that virtually
nobody is supporting them.
"There is a moral argument to go to war"
Lets hear it then. It's not enough to make that simple statement. Bliar
has presents the argument as "its immoral allow Saddam Hussein to remain
in power". However, the argument is that sanctions imposed against Iraq
are causing untold suffering, death and disease and that the war that
Tony and George propose will cause far more suffering to the ordinary
people of Iraq. Hosts of religious leaders have argued that there is no
moral argument for this war and Nelson Mandela has described it as "a
holocaust".
Please see this report on the effects of sanctions by Save the Children
and a host of other groups. Thousands, millions of children are dying as
the result of US and UK policy. Let Blair argue his moral case against
that.

The motion to be discussed in the UK parliament tomorrow is not intended
to be a vote on whether to go to war or not. Blair could never allow
that. Whatever the wording of the motion, British anti-war activists
will treat it simply as a vote to go to war. We will watch the vote very
carefully and decide who to support and oppose at the next election. We
need a strong message against this unjustified and unprovoked war.
Blair, Straw, Hoon, Blunkett and the rest of them are finished. It's
only a matter of time before they are deposed.
War, what will it do?
Destroy ordinary people like me and you
Billions of dollars and pounds for war
I say spend more
On World peace
Not World war
