I asked my eldest son, what does he do when he needs the toilet when on
an afternoons outing to say, the Brenig or Alwen Reservoirs, in North Wales?

"I run into the woods".

And when you bottom needs wiping, what do you use?

"Moss, especially slightly damp, even more effective and a hell of a lot
more comfortable than toilet paper".

I should be pulling tufts of the stuff from my back lawn, who knows,
'this time next year'?

I believe woman have used same for sanitary towels for centuries.

Who needs snowflakes or toilet rolls for that matter?

Which brings to mind an old joke from Soviet times:

A Russian walks into a shop and asks, "You wouldn't happen to have any
fish, would you?". The shop assistant replies, "You've got it wrong –
ours is a butcher's shop. We don't have any meat. You're looking for
the fish shop across the road. There they don't have any fish!"
