in view of the obvious problems with obarmy's judgement
and dubious values....
is it possible the hillary is continuing to oppose obarmy
as a patriotic duty....

will she see it as her duty to endorse mccain rather than
letting obarmy into the white house....
or perhaps stand against him in the last analysis....

the idea that obarmy could be an able president is quite
ludicrous when he has 'policies as follows...

* abandon our friends in iraq,
* attack our allies in pakistan, and
* appease our enemies in iran.

the idea that a president could have heavy attachments to
a black power 'church', friendship with an unrepentant
terrorist and involvement with rezko presently on trial for
corruption....is the stuff of fiction not of serious politics....

is hillary, as a patriot, perhaps putting her country above her party
and above her attachments as a socialist?

as the great statesman, churchill said....
his loyalty was first to his country....
second to his constituents and
third to his party.....

in the uk much of the socialist labour party used to be patriotic
despite many of them being card carrying reds....
whereas now they are interested only in getting to the trough....

are things still better than that in the usa....

or is it just a dream to hope that the socialist hillary will have
such high ethical standards, and surprise the country by proving
herself a principled patriot?

regards...

Possible? definitely.
Probable? Very unlikely imo.

She's a socialist and he's considered by some to be a RINO.
...so maybe.

True, but you also know there's been a lot of concern over the
past 7-8 years about Bush's connections to the Christian fundies.
His constant references to hearing God's voice et al.

Personally I doubt it. I wasn't aware socialists were patriotic to
anything other than spreading (international) socialism.

How times change...
You'd have to list them in reverse order today.

Some Americans I know say that the Dems are not like English
socialists.

She will hang on until Obama gets the nomination is my guess.

I seriously doubt that hillary is placing anyone or anything above hillary.

The only reason she is playing the 'patriotic' game right now is to be 'not
obama'. Like everything else about her, it's a sham.

Of course, I think Obama is a sham, too.

McCain is not a conservative and one of the few things he has going for him
is that he is not Obama and he is not Hillary.

Obama shouldn't pick Hillary as a running mate using your calculus, because, together
they are only "not McCain", whereas McCain would be "not Obama" AND "not Hillary."
So it would be "not Hillary" AND "not McCain" vs "not Obama" AND "not Hillary."

Probably the only time I'll ever give you a 5-star rating on a post. I
got a good chuckle out of that one!
