be a mere word that land you in trouble.
Now what has been made clear is that there seems
to some imbalance when it comes to fabricating
stories about people. When society is in witch hunt
mode you can get away with murder. Yes at some really
late final stage there maybe perjury that's come into
play but well before that a life could be in tatters.
It seems there is such hysteria on the subject, such
ill feeling that there is absolutely no thought to fight
any abuse of false accusations, not public organization
people can go to, no real legislation to say to kids
and adults that it is in fact wrong to make up stories,
use paedophilephobia for their own good.
Kids may use it at will against those they just don't care
for, for attention. Adults as an excuse to dump grief on
some poor local, a cheap weapon. All with impunity as they
know there is nothing out there to stop them. Courts may
look bad for them but they're only going as far as they can
get away with.
It may suit governments to ignore the problem, play the mob.
The fact is that the constant use of crying wolf will only
serve to undermine the actual cause society seeks to combat.

It may suit governments. But it suits unelectable extremist nutters
like the BNP more.
