Are there any watches, other than a Rolex, that tick multiple times between each second?

It is my understanding that the second hand on a rolex watch ticks 5 times
between each second as opposed to one tick per second like most watches.
This makes the second hand appear to move much more fluidly. Is there a term
for this type of movement and are there any companies other than Rolex that
utilize this type of movement on a wrist watch?
