18 July (NB third monday) , Ian Bryant presentation : The Philosophy of
Science -
"The impossibility of scientific truth", and will range from Aristotle, via
Kant, to Nagel ( with a pause to
take refereshments from Popper and Kuhn).
Time: 19:00 for talk 19:30 to 21:00, free entry, open to all. Plenty of time
for questions and answers.

Future talks, usually the second Monday of the month.

Prof Nick Evans , Southampton High Energy Physics at the uni , a followup
talk on recent developements with the CERN Large Hadron Collider , sometime
this autumn.

08 August , Roger Anderton presentation : Modern physics - based upon
misunderstandings surrounding Einstein ?
