Take one phone
One Chinese take-a-way menu

You need:
rice
egg
chicken/pork/whatever else you want in it
Peas (tinned or boiled beforehand)
Sweetcorn (from a tin will be fine)
Soy Sauce

cook your meat beforehand, fry or whatever, and chop it into little
bits.
boil/steam the rice and drain.
Beat the egg, fry it, and use your spatula to chop it into lots of
little bits
Drain all your veg first
heat a little oil in a saucepan/wok. enough to cover the base area but
you don't want your ingrediants swimming in it.
throw your rice in, and use a wooden spoon or spatula to turn it over
in the oil making sure that it cooks evenly and doesn't clump
together. Add a little soy sauce for flavour and colour
Chuck your veg in, continuing to mix it around
throw in the meat and egg bits
Continue to mix around, and sprinkle soy sauce liberally to taste.
keep it cooking for a good few minutes, but don't let it sit in one
place for too long, or your rice will burn.

Serve, and munch :)

chow mein is similar to do :)

dont say i didnt warn you :)

well in my experience, so far i have learned:

ALWAYS use oil....
but not too much
dont try using 6 eggs when theres only 2 people to eat the rice
dont use a good frying pan....wait....what the hell were you using a
saucepan for?!

buy egg fried rice from the chinese, it doesnt have all the other added
vegetable crap in - is it called egg, pea and spring onion fried rice? no!
so whys there always peas and spring onions in it!

I went into London the other week and our fav chinese restaraunte in
Chinatown has gone! We then had to pick a random place we didn't know which
turned out to be shit.

Just my little gripe!

Cool, everything is is chinese, the phone boxes are great they
have this chinese style roof and telephone is writtern in chinese
writing. Good shops, some selling very wired stuff, and some
great places to eat. Next time your in London check it out

because if you do it in a frying pan, you'll find that the sides are
far too shallow and the moment you start mixing it around in great
volumes (which you need to do to stop the rice burning) it'll all go
overboard and onto the stove. Big saucepans work ok for fried rice,
woks are better but not essential. :)
