I had forgotten about this group but just remembered it tonight.
I have mostly been posting to ADP [ alt.drugs.psychedelics ] because that's where all the old children of the '60s , like me, hang out. ( I'm trying to not use the term "hippies" because we never used it. Mostly we just called people who were not like us "straights" :: the term had no connection to sexuality back then.)
Since you last heard from me I've lost my short term memory completely. It is indescribably weird. e.g. I find myself in a taxi - no idea where I'm going or why - it usually becomes clear when the taxi delivers me to wherever I'm going.
I'm quite seriously disabled and living in a sheltered, gated community.
The so called "support workers" are worse than useless because they are stupid.

I remember when this group was so active one could expect a response in minutes.
I suppose most of the action has now moved onto internet forums and I suppose I could too.
I could join Brainfog Cafe for instance, but I like the limitations of text only.
People found ways to be creative in more original ways than on internet forums.
Witty .sigs and quotes were common and when was the last time you saw some ASCII art?
