Good morning Mike from a slightly wet East Sussex. I believe it rained
during the night but does not look too wet out there
and it is not very windy because a certain cat went out quite happily, if
the wind blows on his whiskers he turns back indoors.
Rather them than me in the Fastnet Race.

But then, if you're like Gander you find that you did the right thing and
they remove what you didn't realise was a massive growth that went right
across the face below the eye. And do it in the clinic, not even having to
stay a night in the hossie.

Morning all :-)
It's been a little wet overnight but has dried up now and the air is still.
Sky brightening fast. I wonder if it'll keep up.
Just found out why my last prescription of cocodamol is so useless - fancy
having to wait 10 minutes for them to dissolve when you're screaming in
agony and then find that they don't do what they should for the pain like
the Solpadol used to. It seems the Zanza things they've given me this time
are cheaper so the pharmacy prefer to issue them when they can. What if they
don't do what they should? Too bad!! I'm livid!
Rant over. I'll go back to thinking about the poorlies and hope they get to
being wellies.

Last time was enough. Hopefully this time it won't be as bad. We have a
break in rain now. Still cloudy and looks like more to come though.
I don't mind steady rain. It's when it falls by the bucketful we get
worried.

weeks ago?

I'm told by the guy who lives in the dam house obout 50 yards away, that
the water outflux on that fateful Monday was 4 foot higher than the overflow
level. Now that one hell of a lot of water flowe. No wonder trees,
bridges etc were uprooted and destroyed further down the valley.

I have a friend who was taken off clopidogeral last year and she suffered
a stroke! she recovered after a while when they put her back on the
clopidogeral. Then this year in July they changed her medication again and
sure enough another stroke!! the doctor came and looked quite sheepish as if
my friend would give them an ear bashing, anyway she will be costing the
N.H.S. a lot more now as she will be having the enabling team back again and
the visits to the hospital wont be cheap so why cant the doctors take notice
of the patients!!

You've actually cheered me up telling me that, besides upsetting me with
such an awful story.
How on earth do these things happen?
We've paid into the NHS all our w*rking lives so we deserve to get something
out of it when we need it, don't we?
I hope your friend feels happy and gets the treatment she deserves.

worse than they actually are. They don't want to get caught out being wrong.

We had steady rain from the early hours - but not heavy - stopped about
11am, and although the sun has not come out, it is very warm and we have
had no more rain. Hardly a wind out there too - so goodness knows what
it will be like tomorrow ;)
