Basically, removed broken bone from top of leg, and replaced. She was
quite chirpy tonight......moaning about 'noisy'
patients.....yeah....she's fine!!! May be home in 2 to 3 weeks :)

Glad to hear it went well. Yes, other patients can be noisy, gets on your
nerves at times!! lol

Pleased that your Mum is recovering nicely from her op, yes it can be a bit
noisy in hospital, especially at night whenyou are trying to sleep.

Oh that is good news! I was wondering earlier how she was getting on..no
doubt she will be running the ward by the weekend :-) Will she need extra
care when she gets home? Top of the words list for fast healing .

Running the ward?........you know my mum?? :)
We had reduced the home care to just the morning, plus a shopper, and
cleaner. Will have to review it on discharge. Thank you Boo :) :)

Glad thats over for your Mum Pete and that she feels well. I can remember
about some patients being `noisy`
had one in the ward where I was when I was in Hospital last!!

I knew it had something to do with replacement of a joint, but hadn't
realised it was just the one "half". I know Janet is waiting for
hemiarthroplasty of her shoulder, and wish for her sake they'd hurry up and
get her in!
