Took them the two days they promised to get it installed and functioning,
they will be back tomorrow to finish off the little bits and take away the
old radiators, pipes and tanks.
Electrician arriving Monday to quote for re wiring the house, hopefully he
will be able to do that soon ,then next will be the plasterer followed by
the painter and decorator.
At this rate I am going to have a nicely refurbished house soon :-)

No, not at all...and they have done a super job. It's a family firm and Dad,
brother and sons are all really nice, very god at what they do and neat and
tidy.

LOL at this rate I will be doing the night shift too and well into next
year! It's been an expensive year, windows, garden, heating and now rewiring
but I can honestly say we have had good work done at a reasonable price.

Sounds great Boo, and all the other w**k that you have had/will have done.
We have had the windows and doors done and tomorrow a man is calling to see
about having a downstairs loo/shower room. Will be handy if we ever have
mum over and we are not getting any younger either. You know I think the
steps to go upstairs are multiplying cos it seems to take longer to get up
there than it used to do

aaah, but I don't drive..I am a good girl and use public transport like wot
we are urged to..so my bit of polluting is saved up and I use my allowance
