I was interested to hear Koemann's reason for not shaking the hand
offered by Nigel Clough at the end of the game. Apparently he was
miffed because the Blades management team, fans and players showed the
Southampton squad no respect. Does that imply he doesn't like teams
from the lower leagues not rolling over and giving in to alleged
superior squads. Clough's comment was that he didn't understand what
Koeman meant and emphasised that refusing to shake hands in defeat was a
lack of respect. I wonder what Brian would have said in similar
circumstances.
