Went to Slimelight on Saturday in London had a great time....need to find a

yeah, there's quite a bit over the bridge. in Wales, there is Inquisition in
Cardiff, or Hex/Bane in Swansea. i'm afraid Newport is far too caught up in
the grunge/TJs culture to have a goth night. i put New Model Army on in TJs,
and we got a lot of "gawth types" turn up, but if i was to put on Assemblage
23 we'd have about 4 people :(

Afraid it's full of metal and nu metal in Wales....There's an Inquisition
Goth night approx. once a month on a Saturday night in Cardiff's Ice Rink
(Gretsky's Bar) but it's not completely gothic...have to play metal and
cyber to make the numbers up...but it's better than nothing.....I'm
disappointed too...you could come to Twisted By Design though, in Dempseys
bar in Cardiff (Check Spillers Records for flyers) as the DJ there sometimes
plays Bauhaus, Joy Division and suchlike..amongst all the
punk/underground/indie stuff....the more gothier the crowd the more he'll
cater for it I think...It was a different story in the 80's here...I was
thinking of starting a postpunk/tradgoth night with industrial and
darkwave(but no cyber techno goth) in Cardiff...if I get around to doing it,
I'll post it here and in netgoth page.
