I was living there for just over a year and a half, before I moved to

There is little impressive about Corby - except that *anywhere* can be
quite that bad......
Still - it's lovely to leave & it certainly makes you appreciate
anywhere (everywhere!) else

Yes there are Goths Leicester, but they keep a pretty
low profile. I agree it is a pretty shitty city, I
should know I have lived here all my life. My boy
friend and I are a bit older (no I have to admit it, a
lot older than most Gothy type people. Try looking out
for a band called 'Nine Invisible Ninjas of the
Apocalypse' http://www.9inota.ndirect.co.uk
They play locally occasionally and the last gig at The
Shed with Viable and Leather Jesus, was a really good
one and attracted a good Gothy crowd. There was some
talk of trying to get a regular Goth night going once a
month, so keep your fingers crossed. Also look out for
the Abbey Park Music Festival if it is held this year,
it's worth a look.
