I totally agree and I am a woman. No wonder some poor men are
beginning to shun marriage! When I left my first husband I left with
nothing, just a bin liner of clothes. All I wanted was a peacefull and
happy life. I could have had half his pension (18 yrs). but I signed
to say I wanted nothing. My now husband is a totally different story.
Not only did his ex wife think she was entitled to everything he had
earned in the past ( and kept all the assetts), she thinks she is
entitled to everything he earns in the future (in the name of the
children) and I am not entitled to anything, although I have always
worked full time(10 yrs since we met) We face abuse, CSA, poisonous
letters to family, PAS, and yet still with this government on her side
she persecutes us. I say to men, including my own son, beware, beware,
be very carefull of this sort of woman. It is very sad.

Paula, it is refreshing to hear a woman voicing opinions on this
issue. All I/We can ask of you is to pass on these concepts to
other women, any women who might have ears. As opposed to
Butler-Schloss and H Harmen.

: Good to hear this from a woman!

: I don't think there is any way to know how someone (especially a woman)
is
: going to behave when a marriage ends.

Come on now, surely not all men are that naive. You may be blinded by
love initially but if a woman is greedy within the marriage and bitchy
about friends and family at times , then that is an indication that if
the marriage ends she is as sure going to be greedy and bitchy when it
ends. You must have some clues to the real person, surely????

Hi Paula.
Sorry if you took it the wrong way, I was only joking with a light hearted
comment. As you say, one should know all the clues before you start.
I picked a good un 28 years ago and wouldn't swap her for anything, and that
includes my in laws, (although a top notch Pentium would get me thinking),
................. another light hearted comment ;-))

Regards MIKE.
