Jeeps? not half you're bloody jeeps!)
Now I've got to get in on this one lads. When I were a boy and bread was
tuppence a pint we used to eat Chepstow for dinner every time we met
them at sport etc. Harrogate and Carlisle didn't fair much better
either.

Alec, (B Coy 64C - one of the third intake of Aircraft Technicians, (E,I
and R). (Or *Avionics* when they went and ponced us up in '67(?))

BTW did any old boys from Arborfield know there's an Old Boys
Association?
If any old boys are interested the contacts are:
Brian Hornsey in the REME Museum or Peter Gibson, 35 The Avenue,
Andover, SPLO 3EP Tel: Marchwood Military 2429 or 01962 887429. It
publishes a Membership Directory assisting members to keep in touch or
relocate those with whom a contact has been lost. ( A sort of mini Mike
Crowe's RN shipmates I suppose:-)

Note the smilie,[:-)], at the end of that statement Bill. Mike's
probably put more into this newsgroup than any of us so I wouldn't wish
to offend him. I just think that it's a pity that he decided to become a
tar, if we had had more of the likes of him and his organisational
ability in the army then things might have been a tad different for
some:-)

Hi John,
'76C is a particularly secretive intake (so it appears!) I was there 76C, C Coy Air Tech, Nick Cane. Left the Army May 1986 to become a copper, retired 23 years later, and the rest is becoming history! Spent my first 3 postings in Detmold, BAOR.
