The Prince of Wales was represented by Sir Geoffrey Cass, accompanied
by Lady Cass, at a service of thanksgiving for the life and work of
Lord Alexander of Weedon, QC, held 16 March, 2006, at St Margaret's
Church, Westminster Abbey.
The Rev Robert Wright, rector of St Margaret's, officiated, assisted
by the Rev Deiniol Morgan, Minor Canon and Precentor of Westminster,
who led the prayers, and the Very Rev Colin Slee, Dean of Southwark.

The Hon David Alexander, son, read High Flight by Pilot Officer John
Gillespie Magee and Sir Antony Sher read Sonnet 29 by William
Shakespeare.

During the service Ms Sarah Fox, soprano, accompanied by Mr Simon Over,
piano, sang Morgen by Richard Strauss.
