The Lord COLGRAIN, 3rd baron, died at his home, 7 February, 2008, at
the age of 87.
David Colin Campbell was b 24 Apr 1920, eldest son of the 2nd Baron
Colgrain, MC (1891-1973), by his wife the former Margaret Emily Carver
(d 1989); served in the 9th Lancers; married 1stly 1945 (div 1964),
Veronica Margaret, dau of Colonel William Leckie Webster, RAMC;
married 2ndly, 1973, Sheila, dau of Robert McLeod Mitchell, and former
wife of M.M. Hudson; leaves issue from the 1st union, & is succeeded
in the peerage (Baron UK 1946) by his son, the Hon Alastair Colin
Leckie Campbell, b 16 Sept 1951. A family cremation will be followed
by a Service of Thanksgiving at St Mary, Ide Hill, nr Sevenoaks on
Monday 18th February.

His brother, Robert Dudley Campbell died on the 18th February 2008.

His widow, Sheila, died 8 Apr, 2021. She was 93.
