This Hoare baronetcy is two years younger than the other,
created in 1784 (Hoare of Annabella, where Sir Peter held
that of Hoare of Barn Elms).

Per Burke's Peerage and Baronetage,in the 16th century the Hoare (at first
spelled Hore) ancestors of Hoares of Annabella were at Green's Norton,
Northamptonshire while the Hoare ancestors of the Hoares of Barn Elms were
at Walton,Buckinghamshire.
So if they were patrilineal cousins it is EXTREMELY far back.

However,in both cases they have in their armorial bearings
Sable,a double-headed eagle displayed within a bordure engrailed
Argent.

The Hoare of Barn Elms arms are differenced by an ermine spot
on the breast of the eagle, and Burke's heraldic artist has given
the eagles rather different poses. There are different crests and mottos.

The noted Lord Mayor of London above was the son of a banker,
whose elder brother was ancestor to the LG Hoares of Ellisfield.
However,it was the Hoares of Annabella (as well as the extinct
Viscounts Templewood) who descend from Edward Hoare of Togher
Castle, whose first cousin is said to have been the founder of
the famous Hoare's Bank.

(A more recent Hoare of Hoare's Bank received a third, extinct
baronetcy).

IS a common male line ancestor in fact known or reliably conjectured?

How distant cousins would the two baronets be?

The World Trade Center towers MUST rise again,
at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.
