Diana Coupland, the actress, who died 10 November, 2006, aged 74, was
best known for her portrayal of Sid James's long-suffering wife Jean in
the 1970s situation comedy Bless This House; more recently she appeared
in EastEnders and Casualty.

A big ratings success for ITV, Bless This House cast Coupland opposite
