A death at 50 that is *not* being treated, and described, as suspicious?

Has that now become only a euphemism for "we don't think she was murdered"?

Just as, "police are not looking for anyone else in connection with his/her
death" is used to stand for "he/she killed him/herself, expect further
details later."

At a disgustingly healthy 52, I hope someone'd think it pretty suspicious if
I died suddenly, even if there were no empty bottles, sharp bloody things,
or smoking guns lying around my corpse.

It has further been stated that she was not ill or being treated for
anything.

In the same vien I heard on the tv this morning that police "are not
treating as suspicious" the death of two children and their mother (a
nurse who drugged them and then herself).

Presumably it now means "We've a farily good idea who's done it, so are
just going through the motions".

Heard an expert on Scotch Whisky on the Food Programme (come on!
it _is_ a food to some people! :-) ) saying that if you drink exactly
the right amount of whisky each day, you will live forever. The
trick is to find the right amount. I suppose poor Stephanie
looked too hard.

I shall persue the quest to find the right amount until the day I die.
