She was Joan Margaret, daughter of J. Fenner, of Brisbane, Queensland,
and married in 1941.
Her husband was Inspector-General of Police, Malaysia, 1963-66, and
was appointed KBE in 1965. He was special representative in Malaysia
of the Rubber Growers' Association, &c., & died 15 May, 1978.
Lady Fenner leaves one daughter, Susie.
A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at the Church of St Mary the
Virgin, Henley-on-Thames, Wednesday 9 July, 2003.
