A former singer who was wife to speed icon Donald Campbell has died.
Tonia Bern was born on November 15, 1936 in Belgium. She was an actress, known for Keep It Clean (1956), The Flaw (1955) and Double Cross (1956). She was previously married to Bill Maynard.
Tonia Bern-Campbell was a member of the team that supported Mr Campbell as he smashed multiple absolute world speed records in the 1950s and 1960s.
Mr Campbell eventually died during a record attempt in a hydroplane on Coniston Water in 1967, after which Mrs Campbell returned to her singing career.
