Peter John Edward Jackson was born 14 May, 1944, the son of David
Charles Jackson, by his wife, the former Sarah Ann Manester, and was
educated at Brockley County Grammar School; Sprachen & Dolmetscher
Institute, Hamburg, West Germany; London University (LLB Hons, 1967).
