I'm looking for some kind of insurance for vet fees for our cat in case
he develops some serious problem or something. He's seven years old and
currently healthy. However, I'm looking for one of these options (called
things like "permanent health endorsement") where if I keep paying, they
keep offering me reasonable premiums from year to year even if some
chronic condition develops later on.
It turns out that our cat's already too old for the providers I've
talked to so far. Can anyone suggest any that are okay to start such
insurance for middle-aged cats? If I am required to pay for extra
rubbish like rewards after thefts or bereavement helplines or whatever,
I can live with that.
