Do any banks have notably good or bad online banking interfaces? I quite
liked how Nationwide would let me skip the next standing order payment
though the last I recall for individual payments it was harder to change
a payment reference one-off, one was expected to edit the payee each
time. Clydesdale's now changed theirs so I can't even create a standing
order whose first payment differs from the others. Bearing in mind that
I am not doing online banking from a mobile telephone, I'm wondering to
which bank to consider switching. Unfortunately one doesn't get to try
out the online banking in advance as a prospective customer! Some
ability to cope with foreign currency would be nice, I switched from
Nationwide when I could no longer even deposit foreign currency cheques,
so maybe I'm limited to having to look at the larger banks.
