We had a parcel go missing in the post, guaranteed 48hr with parcel
force world wide, it was sent 6th dec, we made a claim 30th dec.

Had a letter back 10th Jan saying "sorry it's outside of the 30 days
claim time", we have receipts for both the 6th and 30th dates., also
counting in the christmas holiday that is quite bad practise , are
they trying to get away with it? have tried to contact via website,
can't email, can't phone either as its a phone system no human
contact, is there anything we can do to proceed with further action.
as we have lost £300

last minute.com , made a booking for £120 cancelled within a few
minutes, had reply saying no problem will refund within 7 days , but
with a £20 cancel fee, that's fine with me, but 10 days on, still no
refund what so ever for the remaining £100

I'm fed up of bad business practise by big companies and shall not be
using either again
I booked with my credit card for last minute .com, can I get my cc
company to issue through or force them to refund my £100?

how was the claim submitted? by post? if they do not receive claims by the
30 days they will reject, regardless of when you posted the claim, i always
used to fax claims

you could try county court, it will be up to a judge to decide on a pay out,
also you could try your home insurance

phone your card issuer and dispute the transaction
