Hi,
I recently had an email flyer inviting me to order via Tesco direct and add
a code for free delivery if spending £50.00 ore more. Decided to proceed- -
ordered £80.00 of items and got no option to enter the code!! Sent an email
advising of this and got no reply. Eventually goods arrive but guess
hat- -delivery was charged at £5.50!! Sent another email- - no reply. Sent
email to different team and got this:
Thank you for your email.

"I'm sorry you couldn't use your coupon on your recent order.

Unfortunately, I can't add the voucher to your previous order.

However the voucher is in date and can still be used. If you follow the
instructions on the attached document, you will be able to add the voucher
to your next order and take advantage of the free delivery option.

I trust this will have explained things for you and thank you for taking the
time to let us know about this.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at
tesco...@tesco.co.uk quoting xxxxxxxx
Kind Regards

xxxxxxxxxxxx
Tesco Direct"

Now the attached document was some gibberish type of example for entering in
a code- - I think as that was not explained! So I am expected to buy again
just to get what I should have got first time round.
I am a reasonably competent net user and have bought many items using codes
et but this option was definitely missing when I made a purchase so I don't
believe it was me. It seems a poor response from Tesco- - -but "every little
helps"!!
Think I will stick to Ocado.
Stuart.

Tee hee, I use a local store who offer delivery free if you order over 20
quids worth and thus you can tell if its in stock or not.
They seem most helpful.

Real people and in the uk too, unlike Sainsbury's.
