Just wanted to pop in and tell you about a free eBay tool I wrote
called Auction Watch (http://www.auctionwatchgd.com). It works with
Google Desktop to display active auctions on the desktop. It integrates
with your My eBay Bidding and Watching list and is full of cool
features.
Here is a recent write up from the eBay Developers blog:
http://ebaydeveloper.typepad.com/dev/2006/06/part_of_the_fun.html
It also supports eBay UK. I know the non-US eBays often get pushed
around by the juggernaut that is ebay.com, so I've done my best to
include support for 19 countries in Auction Watch.
I see this is primarily a sellers' board. I've received emails from a
sellers having great success giving Auction Watch to their bidders. It
gets the Watch list items right on the desktop, which increases
awareness and bids.
Hope this tool is of some use. Please let me know if you have any
suggestions or feedback.
Cheers,
Ty Kroll

This seems to me to have been a relevant and possibly a useful
contribution for the users of this group, so to criticize it as spam is
the worst kind of kneejerkery. In future just engage brain before
operating the machinery.
