I like the bit that says

Of course that's why Einstein was wrong. Things that are hundreds of light
years away are perceived to rotate, which means the information that tells
one something is rotating at that distance is travelling in a circle of 2x
PI x Radius which proves information can travel at a sidereal speed of an
unlimited and infinite magnitude. This of course means Relativity is an
illusion and not a fact. Time doesn't bend. The now exists everywhere,
except where it goes of the edge of the canvas which could mean Einstein was
right after all. :)

nope. only that it *was* traveliing at that speed hundreds of years ago.

But it can be stretched, or compressed.

Days are long, but years are short [1]

It does. it's just not always the same "now"

unless there's no edge, and it's actually a spherical canvas where if
you go far enough, you end up back where you started - or worse,
Barnsley :.)

[1] not while the evil days come not

obEay: I've got a couple of books on quantam physics to list some time
today.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the

What I'm saying though if the earth rotates approximately once every 24
hours it would be possible to see that at any point on the circumference of
a circle of any radius distance from the earth even if the circumference of
the circle were larger than light could travel in 24 hours. (Provided you
had a strong enough telescope and could still see it of course mustn't
forget the inverse square law)

That hasn't anything to do with the actual speed of light though it just
means the light rays can propagate information over a larger circumference
distance the light can physically travel which means the information speeds
up in relation to the actual speed of light and thus maintains the rotation
period

I don't see a problem with that because obviously one can prove recorded
information can travel faster than light simply by speeding it up and in
effect that is exactly what would be happening

But that's just language or a means of expessing something in metaphorical
terms it doesn't actually have an effect on the rythem of time. IOW the way
we percieve things has no effect on reality. Which of couse is why an
individual can be insane because perceptuon and reality are two entirely
separte things

Well I would argue that's an illusion simply a product of the speed of light
or the transmission of information in a strait line. I doesn't affect the
actuality of the present which is the same everywhere.

My main problem with Einstein's theory is the notion that space and time are
linked. If that were the case. We would have to be the centre of the
Universe, because obviously one would have an entirely different universe
dependent on the point in space it is viewed as you point out there would be
multiple "nows". I don't think that's case. A drummer beats a drum at a
certain rhythm. The physical actuality of the events that create the sound
remains static in time and space, no matter from where it is heard, the
speed of sound doesn't change time only the perception of time. Likewise I
don't think the speed of light can change time, it simply warps our
perception.

Well the artist like the scientist has the power to define reality. Doesn't
necessarily mean the definition is correct though LOL This of course is
Einstein's saving grace he can be wrong and one can say so and also be wrong
LOL ;)

Well I'd better leave disproving Einstein wrong for a day or two, otherwise
there may be a shift in the Space time continuum and the Universe as we
think we know it might become obsolete, can't have the Universe misdescribed
on eBay! LOL ;)

Mind if I'm right and time is a constant singularity an ever repeating
moment that events can occur in, then space to may be an illusion, in which
case it should be possible to list stuff on a Universal eBay, the one that
is to come, the eBay the dimensions of which we cannot calculate. But can
work as long as one can provide fast shipping to the Pliadies :)
