When I first set up my eBay account in 1997 the UK site did not exist
so I had to register on the US site. My location is shown correctly as
UK but emails I receive from ebay i.e watched item ending soon........
xyz has sent a question about item no 123456...... etc assume I am in
the USA and, for instance, will show times in PDT / PST. I have looked
through "My Account" details but can't see anything obvious to change.
Is it possible to correct this ?

Indeed. But when you set up daily search emails, they all come out with
URLs at ebay.com. So you click on the links, but end up at the .com site,
where the options like subsequent 'UK only' searches don't exist. And you
have to login again, because the login cookie isn't shared between .co.uk
and .com
I have exactly the same problem, and haven't found a way to fix it.

Been there, done that, had to register on .uk all over again. I'm afraid
there is no other way.
