Just packed something up and despatched by UPS. They require a contact
phone number. I just double-click on the number the buyers give in their
delivery address details and paste it in.
Item is despatched and I've been filing the emails and stuff and just
noticed he put his number as 0123456789.
If there's a problem with delivery and it comes back, that's him who'll
have to pay for a re-send, then.

very bright people do stupid things occasionally. We find ourselves in

that way you got proof and will not be punished if item came back or
shipping got delayed.
