Posting DVD's etc (where ebay force you to use free delivery)

Is the general consensus here send them 2nd class (especially when they
seem to buy and sell DVD's themselves and it doesn't look like it could
be a Christmas present)

I don't think you can get around being forced into free postage for the
DVD categories unless you class it as freight or something like that?

IME, private sellers always send them 2nd class with as little packaging
as possible(1) whilst business sellers send 1st class with proper
packaging.

(1)I received a dvd box set on Thursday from a private seller. Won on
the 10th, posted on the 15th 2nd class. The seller wrapped it in a paper
primark bag without bubble wrap(2).

(2)Outer box damaged and when I took out the three cases, two of them
had cracks and damage. The dvds were dirty too.

I never sell dirty DVDs (no not that sort), but mostly sealed

*always on amazon and used to on ebay
