I suppose it might help if you know what I want wouldn't it - duh! I would
like either a fairy or an angel - not too extreem as its to commemorate my
son's birth and death, so I would like it to be quite simple and I would
also like his name in the veining of the wings.
Do you know any where I can get this or get information about it?
Thanks
Nikki
Best bet is to search around for a tattooist in your area of the
country who you are comfortable with, and who you want to do the work,
then describe to him what you have just dscribed to us. They will be
able to design something until you are both happy with it.

I feel good about the sin
that I inflict on my own skin
I pay money to cut and burn
Pictures like lessons
That I need to learn
I have had one done before, not in Peterborough I hasten to add - but every
time I go back to the studio its shut - when the sign says it should be open
so I would like to try some where thats open for a start and that others
would recommend.
My other tattoo is about a year old and needs re-colouring, its should be
black but its gone quite grey - is that my skin or did it just not take very
well - I know the white bits are where I knocked it whilst it was healing -
but the main body of the tattoo is greyish.
As before any iformation would be appreciated I don't want to have something
done badly on my body for the next god knows how long!! :o))
Thank you
Nikki
BTW I hope I am posting ok I am new to newsgroups and I have never quite got
the hang of it ;o)
Have you tried http://www.ukbodyart.org/list/thelist.htm ??
There is nothing specific to P'boro, but give it a whirl anyway

not being tattooed I couldn't really help you there, there are plenty
of people who should be able to who I am sure will be along shortly :)

You are posting fine! There are only two main rules:
1: If you are replying to someone make sure you post *underneath* the
quoted section
2: When replying to someone make sure you cut off anything which isn't
relevant to your bit. There is nothing worse than someone quoting
pages and pages of information just to put 'Me too!' at the bottom :)
Welcome to UPB!

The only difference between a tattooed person
and a non-tattooed person, is that a tattooed person
does not care if you are not tattooed.

I really must sort out the bug with my IRC program. Maybe I should just download
it, or....I may have a copy of it on a free disc.
I think this evening is "troll through the free CDs night"

I was about to tell you to go to http://www.mirc.co.uk and download
that, as it is fairly small and pretty good, also very well supported.
Then I remembered you are one of 'them' and use a Mac, so you can find
your own damned IRC programme ;)
Or ask Clanky, I'm sure she'll know which programmes are good?
We have a locked cupboard full of choccie biscuits and nice things which
we can't get to, for the offering to new peeps and general getting to
know you, so if you've got a skeleton key handy, help yourself...
I thought you did a pretty neat job, actual, and also a nice bit of
counselling up there....
so welcome to the group and things, look out for munches and see if you
can pop along one day.
