Genetically based IQ deficit? Please present your arguments as I would be
intrigued in hearing this opinion which would also give someone of my
standing the right to defend it. The point being that fine, no area is
outside the realms of discussion but the nature in which many of these
issues are discussed do not justify the intellectual merit that you claim
e.g. Big Dons posting.
When I paid for the privilege of joining Mensa I came with the currency of
intellect, not racial victimisation.
Anybody with half a brain will now that intelligence is hard to define and
its development rarely confined to a genetic basis. I am that example. When
I was in school I was considered thick - which I would imagine is consistent
with your archetypal Negro - however, this was as a result of a lack of
education and not paying attention. Like many of my kind, I was pushed into
sports and enjoyed a fairly successful athletics career. I was 14 and
considered to have an IQ of 90.
However, I moved school and soon became friends with an Oriental man from
Hong Kong. He influenced me greatly and instilled in me a hard work ethic.
We set up a timetable as he was on my course and we both sailed through our
GCSE's and A-levels (4 A's).
Last year I graduated with a First from Oxford University in
Physics and took an IQ test which I registered 174. How do you
account for this difference?
Let me offer an explanation. This simply arose due to a change in my
environment and also being introduced to Image-Streaming which has worked no
end. I have done Image streaming every day for 30 minutes for about 3 years
and the IQ gains were phenomenal.
This is a scientifically proven method of increasing IQ thereby adding
weight to the nurture argument. Any IQ researcher worth their salt must
recognise that as the brain is a muscle, it is capable on expansion as well
as contraction by external stimuli. Image streaming metaphorically enables
me to 'body build' my mind. There is also research suggesting that every
full grown normal functioning human being has a potential IQ of well over
300 - I refer you to Project Renaissance and I trust I will not have to
provide you with the URL. It is finding the key to release these hidden
treasures that is the task of mankind.
You may wish to comment on the above.
On a more lighter note, I play on the yahoo chess server and would welcome a
game of chess. I am currently unbeaten in 65 games and await a stiff
challenge. My chess name is BOOSTMEUP and I'm well known around those
circles.
Finally, If I as a black man - I find the term 'Negro' rather deprecating -
can form intelligent discussion what stops others, given they have the same
background. Are you seriously trying to suggest that I am an enigma? I can
assure you I am not!
If any of you wish to e-mail me and put my claimed IQ to the test please
send your messages to boostm...@netscapeonline.co.uk as I am capable of
talking comprehensively on most subjects - my favourite is quantum physics!!
Ps. If we get really friendly, I may even give you the pleasure of speaking
with me : )
