In the procedures established for maintaining the uk.* hierarchy
<http://www.usenet.org.uk/guidelines.html>, is is provided that a
proponent may call for a vote to be conducted at any time between 10 and
40 days from the latest RFD of a given proposal.
UKVoting have now received a request to conduct a vote on the following
proposal:
remove unmoderated newsgroup uk.net.regulation
whose most recent RFD was posted on Wed, 04 Feb 2004 22:40:45 +0000 as
<news:<rfd1-uk.net.regulation-20040204224045$36...@clw.cs.man.ac.uk>>.
A Call For Votes (CFV) will now be prepared, and will presently be posted to
uk.net.news.announce and opther relevant groups. Do not attempt to submit
a vote until the official CFV has been so posted.
