ULM rejection enquiry

I refer to the following rejected message, rejected as 'abusive or
hurtful to others':

In it I refer disparagingly, but not, I believe, in a defamatory way,
to the neighbour of a poster's mum. Do the rules prevent us being rude
or abusive to such third parties, or should this have been rejected as
potentially defamatory instead? Does it matter? Idle curiosity really.

I wouldn't have rejected it either. Maybe the mod read it in haste and
assumed that the rude remarks were directed at a previous poster.

Or perhaps the mods from urcm are branching out and have undermined the
bulwarks of liberty {R} erected around his server. I think we should be
told.

Not really, my house is just surrounded by mad cat ladies and I'm
paranoid about the creatures. There *could* exist reasonable cat
owners.
