Now, is it actually possible anymore to ask a question about cycling
in uk.rec.cycling without immediately having trolls piling in with
their horrible, utterly despicable insults (to a far greater extent
than any "serious" answers to the question concerned)?

If not, I intend to create an RFD to DELETE uk.rec.cycling. If the
group can't be used for its proper purpose then I gather from Tony
Evans (UNN* moderator, headmaster and Control [Freak]) that its
removal can be fast-tracked without a vote being necessary, precisely
to stop trolls coming in and block-voting and canvassing in a
situation like this.

Gotcha! Suck on that, you fucking troll bastards. That'll teach you,
you vile excuses for human beings. You'll have nowhere to play your
spiteful playground games, while the grown-up, proper cyclists can
talk about cycling (shock horror) without any problems on
uk.rec.cycling.moderated, which has the best moderation I have ever
seen anywhere by far, bar none, with no exceptions, full stop, with no
exceptions, full stop, bar none. With no exceptions.

Be warned, I have the deletion RFD all typed out and ready to be sent
if things on uk.rec.cycling don't immediately improve. Tom Crispin,
Ian Smith et al will no doubt claim that I am somehow "betraying
cyclists", but that's *them*, not me. They are the ones who refuse to
play ball on URCM. I think this is bitterness at not having been made
URCM moderators themselves. They have since become obsessed with being
made URCM moderators, and allow this obsession to colour every single
post that they make about, to, into, out of, beside, and even beneath
URCM. Tom Crispin has never been very good, but I have been
particularly disappointed by Ian Smith's behaviour, and I will *not
allow him* to get in the way of URC's removal, and that's that.

Now it's time to eat some grilled pig, which I didn't kill myself. Ta-
ta!

Mind you, he's got a point. It's a bit like the end of "Platoon."

But why not? The only thing keeping it together is the trolls holding
hands in their circle-jerk. To keep up the urc illusion, they arrange
for one of their number to bowl them under arm.

Wow, that is real paranoia showing.

Dr Death won't work, the group is definitely active; taking part
isn't compulsory, one person's sewer is another person's play
ground; it is a stem for another group and i think it would be a
uk.* first (correction welcomed) for a moderated group to have its
stem group rm'd

is that a euphamism? if so i'm guessing someone from a public
school might understand that, i don't and google hasn't helped,
call me pleb :)

If it is, it'll be the only real thing around here.

So you and your persona are 'not real' ? Even sadder.

And you think that you are "real". Sad, kind of.

Deckard: She's a replicant, isn't she?
Tyrell: I'm impressed. How many questions does it usually take to spot
them?
Deckard: I don't get it, Tyrell.
Tyrell: How many questions?
Deckard: Twenty, thirty, cross-referenced.
Tyrell: It took more than a hundred for Rachael, didn't it?
Deckard: [realizing Rachael believes she's human] She doesn't know.
Tyrell: She's beginning to suspect, I think.
Deckard: Suspect? How can it not know what it is?
