MC [mägg]: ugs. Abkürzung für McDonalds. Vorwiegender gebrauch in der
Sprache der Jugendlichen. "Gehen wir zum MC?" "Nein, lieber zum Türken um
die Ecke."

(aber Master of Ceremony ist schon richtig...)

Mittlerweile ex. viele unterschiedliche Interpretationen, z.B. Mic
Controller, ich glaube, dass MC vom Begriff des "Master of Ceremony"
(Zeremonienmeister) kommt.
Peace, alex

newsgroup --> de.alt.music.hiphop

Yo mister Manphiz, please explain (and I quote) the following sentence:

"after all...master of ceremonies is the right thing...and all those
newsgroups aren't right for that question... we have a german hiphop
newsgroup --> de.alt.music.hiphop"

What are you tryin' to say here, that this newsgroup isn't good enough for
you and your peeps???

nope. but if we take a look at the beginning of this thread, it was a
_german_ posting about a hiphop related question. so
de.alt.music.hiphop would be right for that thread. but it seems like
the author does not know de.alt.music.hiphop, becoz it isnt one of the
groups of the x-post... so maybe he is interested in more hiphop
stuff... so he should take a look at de.alt.music.hiphop. thats
everything i want to say...

have a nice thread,
'phiz

I don't speak German, but from what I having been reading I think that you
are wrong.

MC = the person who raps, i.e. LL cool J is a MC.

(However, I may be misunderstanding the message as I do not understand the
language)

so it should b xl8ed:

the original question was, what does the shortage
MC mean in words... i.e. master of ceremony...

and he's quite good ;o)

it's just 'coz the german guy was too 'clever' to
put a german thread in german newsgroups...

Yo non-English speakin' kids, if you're not goin' to speak something else
than your own language, please remove this newsgroup when you're reactin' to
a message. I'm sure not too many kids in here give a shit about your posts
if they're in German.

So please take Manphiz' advice and keep that shit to your own newsgroup!!!!!

1. don't call us kids.
2. it was your decision not to delete the non-german groups
3. it was your decision to react at this posting
4. i think, you should think about some things
