My book has it like so (fixed pitch font):
A F#7 Em/G D#m7
When black friday falls -- you know it's got to be
Dmaj7 B E
Don't let it fall on me ____
However, I don't hear the Em/G quite right, and I feel
that there's another chord just before it not mentioned.

Well, Em/G is G6, and D#m7 is not drastically unlike Eb7#9--but sounds
more correct than Eb7#9 if you play a Dmaj7 instead of a D triad.
There should be a G6 on top of "friday," too, since the chords follow the
bass line.
I did a quick record of the two variations (Eb7#9 D B vs D#m7 DM7 B) and
posted it. The original poster can use the one he thinks sounds right.

I actually like the D#m7 to DM7 better than the Eb7#9 to D, but I think
the D to B sounds better than the DM7 to B. Weird.
It was transcribed in Guitar Player as:
A G6 F#7 G6
When black friday falls -- you know it's got to
Eb7#9 Dmaj7 A/B E
be Don't let it fall on me
