Guitar Tech and prices

Does anyone know of a guitar tech in the South Wales area.
Around Newport if possible, that would let me sit in while he sets up my
guitar.
I do not have a local music shop and Newport is the nearest big town 16
Miles away.
What is the going rate to restring and set up a guitar ?
I have just bought a second hand guitar after 15 years without one.

I use the man at Cwmbran. Sound Wave, Court Road Industrial Estate.
He's done a couple of set-ups for me (typical price, including minor repairs
and a re-string - you choose the brand - about 35 quid).
He also does amp repairs, rebuilds etc., and sells guitars and amps too, new
and second-hand.
A regular Aladdin's cave - was in there last week looking for a spare part
for an old acoustic tuning thingy - you know, the bit with the cogs on. Man
looks in old cardboard box and finds the very bit I was looking for. How
much? Nothing!
I'd give him a try if I were you.
