Combining my passion for guitars and a desire to buck the norm, I have
started and launched a small business - Painted Axe. Its primary
mission is to rescue "pre-owned" and neglected guitars and transform
them into bold, vibrant and working instruments.

While there is no champagne or hors d'oeuvres today, I hope you'll

What you fail to mention is that to you probably are on a different
continent than most of the readers of this newsgroup. Would it be
cost-effective to send my old banjo, to have it repainted and made to sound
like one of Steve Vai's guitars?
