Anyway, I reckon that after Friday night, there won't be much doing Saturday
morning, and I thought I'd have a browse around some local music shops, see
if I can pick a bargain.
Anyone know any ? My mate is not musically minded, and has no idea if there
are any ... any help would be appreciated.

PS > His house is actually in Haarlem, so that would probably be a better
bet ( I will be on foot).

In Amsterdam:
Dirk Witte, Vijzelstraat 53-55 (www.dirkwitte.nl/)
Dijkman, Rozengracht 107/115 (www.dijkmanmuziek.nl/)
Mijnheer Gitaar, Roelof Hartstraat 50-52 (www.mijnheergitaar.nl)
Palm Guitars, 's-Gravelandse Veer 5bg (www.palmguitars.nl) (almost a museum,
this one)
Wave World (Poppeliers), Bilderdijkstraat 66-70 (www.waveworld.nl)
Hampe & Berkel Muziek, Spui 11 (www.berkelmuziek.nl)
De Plug, Ruysdaelkade 105 (www.deplug.nl/)
Sacksioni, Ruysdaelstraat 7 (www.sacksioni.nl/)
Not much in Haarlem, I'm afraid:
The Magnificent Musicmaniacs, Ostadestraat 10 (www.musicmaniacs.nl/)
Alphenaar Bladmuziek Muziekinstrumenten, Kruisweg 45
(but these don't look like you can spend half a day there)
Have fun!
